Birla Open Minds, L.B Nagar celebrated Grandparents' Day with great fervor, honoring the wisdom and love of grandparents. The event unfolded with soulful prayer, lighting of lamp, mesmerizing dances, and heartfelt skits, showcasing students' talent and affection. Our beloved Principal emphasized intergenerational bonding, highlighting grandparents' invaluable role. The finale dance and heartfelt vote of thanks culminated the joyous celebration, strengthening family ties and creating cherished memories.
Birla Open Minds,L.B Nagar hosted a special assembly for Bhasha Jhankar: Students showcased their talents through prayers, dances, songs, skit and poem recitations in Telugu and Hindi. The event celebrated language diversity, fostering unity and appreciation for India's rich cultural heritage among students.
Pre primary students celebrated Blue Colour Day with lots of energy. Students explored various shades and objects in blue, discovering its vibrancy. As a fun takeaway, they crafted jellyfish by sticking cutouts of tentacles and adding colorful eyes. This engaging activity developed fine motor skills, creativity, and color recognition.
"Birla Open Minds, L.B Nagar hosted 'Melody Moment', a delightful rhyme session with teachers. Mothers of our pre primary students joined, creating a joyful atmosphere, fostering bonding and community building.We were thrilled see the mothers engage with the child, fostering a love for learning.
On 24th August 2024, we hosted our Investiture Ceremony, a day dedicated to honoring our future leaders. The ceremony began with a warm welcome to our Chief Guest, followed by a dignified Guard of Honor. The Lamp Lighting brought a spiritual start, and our Principal’s address set the tone for the day. The Chief Guest’s inspiring words resonated with everyone present. A defining moment of the ceremony was the pinning of sashes and badges to our newly elected Student Council members. This symbolic act was performed with great pride, as each student stepped forward to receive their emblem of leadership. The sashes, draped across their shoulders, and the badges, pinned to their chests, were more than just accessories—they represented the trust and responsibilities bestowed upon these young leaders. Following this, the Oath-Taking Ceremony solidified their dedication to their new roles. A special moment was also dedicated to the release of our much-anticipated school magazine, a showcase of our students’ creativity and achievements, with applause.
Parents of the student council members were honored with momentos as a token of gratitude for their support, and our Head Boy and Head Girl took up the stage to share their aspirations and vision which align with values of our school. The event concluded on a patriotic note with the national anthem.
Through the "Enormous Earth" theme culmination we brought our students of K1,K2 close to nature by emphasizing on topics like Earth, Living & Non-living things, land, water, sky, pollution, saving our planet, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle & made them aware of our planet "Earth".We also brushed through the concepts like salty & fresh water & Earth's geographical representation of being covered with water(30%)n land(70%).Children also saw the different Earthern ware & how does the potter make it.
"A picnic is a memorable way to build relationships and enjoy the presence of others in a relaxing setting. Picnics play a pivotal role in nursery education as a means of personal development. Our recent 'Slippery Beach Picnic' was a fun-filled day with friends, where children dressed in beach attire and brought beach snacks. They enjoyed sliding and making memories that will last a lifetime."
"The Independence Day celebration at BOMIS, L.B Nagar filled the air with patriotism .The program began with flag hoisting by the Principal, followed by the National Anthem. Students showcased their talents through patriotic songs, classical dance, and speeches in Hindi, English, and Telugu. A skit on freedom fighters and drum beats added to the fervor. Dance performances by various grades enthralled the audience. The Principal's address and speeches by students highlighted the significance of independence. The assembly concluded with a sense of national pride and unity, inspiring students to value their freedom and heritage."
"Culmination of a fantastic learning journey! Our Grade 1 and Grade 2 students proudly presented their combined efforts, showcasing their understanding of the 'Green World' and 'Clothing Styles' topics. Through interactive displays, vibrant collages, and informative posters, our young learners demonstrated their knowledge and creativity. We're thrilled to see their growth, teamwork, and enthusiasm shine through in this culmination!
"The Soul Science Assembly for Grades 5-8 was hosted by Kausthuba. The assembly began with a prayer and school song by the choir group, followed by a birthday song. Grade 5 students presented a play and quotes on self-awareness, transitioning smoothly to yoga displays by Grade 6, and then Grades 7 and 8 which empowered the children to follow mindfulness. The assembly concluded with the national anthem."
BOMIS, LB Nagar celebrated Reader's Deck , recognizing reading's power to unlock knowledge, imagination, and possibilities. The assembly showcased students' language skills. The celebration aimed to instill a love for reading, and the students' confidence, creativity, and language skills shone bright, making it an unforgettable experience that highlighted the importance of reading and language development.
